On Sunday, December 8, the pilgrimages for the celebration of the patrón saint of Mexico, the Virgin of Guadalupe, begin. If you will traveling to the festival from points north, you would be well advised to take the route through the tunnels instead of the center of town which will be blocked off for the festivities. Parking could be scarce as well so taxis, buses and Uber might be considered.
We will have chairs and also mats on the ground for seating. If you want to bring your own, feel free but the seating will already be in place when doors open at 5:00PM so prime locations may already be taken.
We ask you not to bring food or drinks into the area but are welcome to purchase items on the grounds or in the restaurant and are free to come and go as there are many places nearby to purchase and consume items.
